Brian Richardson was hired as the new girls’ basketball coach at the regular board of education meeting. Brian Graduated from Merritt High School in Elk City and then continued on to SWOSU obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education. He is currently working towards a Master’s in Educational Leadership at SEOSU.
For the past 17 years, Richardson has been the athletic director, and girls and boys head coach, and assisted in several Jr high programs at Sayre Public Schools.
Pryor to teaching at Elk City Richardson was the head high school and Jr high girls coach from 2002 to 2006.
Brian’s wife Jennifer was also hired as a new Elementary school teacher. She is currently teaching 5th grade at Sayre Public Schools.
