Callie Seiger, Hennessey girl born and raised, has always had a soft spot for dogs. At the age 4 her dream was to be a Veterinarian, but schooling for that just wasn’t in her future. although, she found that dog grooming could easily become a reality for her. In 2021, she enrolled in 10-week, 400-hour, very hands-on dog grooming school, at the Academy of Dog Grooming Arts, in Oklahoma City. Callie says, “I have always had a love for dogs and have known all my life that I wanted to work around them.” With that in January of 2022 CL Grooming, a full-service dog grooming business, began right here in Hennessey, OK!
She has experience grooming various breeds but enjoys grooming Aussie’s the most. That may have to do with her 2 pride and joys, Lucy and Ellie, which are Toy Aussies. With grooming, patience and love is the key to gaining a pet’s trust. There was a time in Callie’s life when she owned 9 dogs at one time. She says “dogs are my safe haven.” As a result, Callie’s longest standing client, with two schnauzers, followed Callie to Stillwater until she made Hennessey her permanent grooming business.
Callie specializes in all types of grooming, any breed, from big to small. She stated, “I enjoy the sassy ones, or the dogs that have a little bit of an attitude because it shows me their personality.” Her grooming service provides a variety of things from nail trims to baths, full grooms, and can even dye your pets hair. After a groom session, your dog gets to indulge on a homemade treat, made special by CL Grooming.
