What a weekend! Hennessey was able to bring home their first JH State Champion, Titan Hix, since the wrestling program made its return in 2020. He was also named the Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament picking up 4 pins out of the 6 matches he wrestled!!
Coach Korey Walker said, “To my knowledge, he is now the second wrestler in Hennessey wrestling history to bring home the JH State Championship. The first was 2X JH State Champion Mike Childs. All of our wrestlers did great and it was so awesome for us coaches to see the improvement that these young men and women have made in their short time in the sport!!”
