Circle B Diesel Services, is owned and operated by Brian Byrd, a Hennessey native graduating in 2000. Melody, his wife is a registered respiratory therapist, they have two teenage boys, Tyler 15, and Trenton 14 along with their daughter, Chasity, and her husband Wyatt Kellen.
The beginning of Brian’s love for diesel mechanics started at a very young age, he says “I’ve been working on farm equipment since I was 12 or 13 with my Grandpa, he was the one pushing me to become a diesel mechanic” Grandpa, the late Tom Vaverka, had been a role model for Brian, he inspired Brian to be the man he is today and lead him to the career he so loves today.
Brian started as a Junior in high school attending Autry Tech school, where he became certified in diesel mechanics, welding, hydraulics, electrical, and IVT transmission. He later attended Baylor School in Florida, for hay equipment and John Deere tech school in Texas. Prior opening his own diesel shop he worked for P&K Equipment for 7 years.
Circle B Diesel Services opened one-man7, the one-man operation offers an array of services for heavy farm equipment, trucks, construction, and specializing in John Deere equipment. Circle B is equipped to make hydraulic hoses and bailor belts right there in his shop and has a service truck to make field service calls.
In addition to Circle B, Brian also has his mining permit with the state of Oklahoma for 5 years to operate Byrd Shell Pit, oilfield locations, road upkeep, and building pads.
When it comes to farming, Brian enjoys his time in the field, swathing and bailing hay along with running his cattle. He is looking forward to the day that his boys can help with custom hay work, “which will most likely be in 2023” his wife Melody adds. In addition, they offer Shurwrap. He recommends that you preorder to get a discounted rate, but rest assured he does have it on hand at the shop for purchase.
When Brian isn’t elbow deep in a tractor, or making the rounds in the field he finds joy in loading up the family and heading to Keystone Lake to enjoy time on their boat and spending quality time camping.
Circle B Diesel is located 5962 N 2920 Rd, what is also known as Banner Road. Hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.
