I HAVE A DREAM
Terral Prince has been an artist for nearly all of his life. Early in his teenage years, he developed a knack for designing graphics on vehicles. Starting in the custom paint and body industry, he later started working at a sign shop and quickly merged into the vinyl sign and graphics industry, where he rapidly became one of the best in the state. He dreamed of one day having a big, beautiful shop of his own.
This vision was not just any ordinary sign shop, it was a landmark, a statement, big enough to fit two full-size trailer trucks inside at one time. It included a grand facade with a large showroom. The graphic setup area would be huge, with lots of room to layout large projects.
In 2012 Terrall made the leap to start his own business, and Royal Signs was born. Working in a tiny office space for several years and dealing with the Oklahoma weather wasn’t easy at first. Terrall said, “There were several people in Hennessey that believed in me and gave me a chance to make my dream come true.”
It was 2018 when Terrall broke ground on his dream building located just south of Hennessey. The new building is everything he envisioned, it allowed him to stretch his legs and build the dream business. Now he has six employees, several aerial boom trucks, and creates signs for customers all over the region. Terrall said, “We do a lot of wraps on large trucks and buses; this new shop makes that easy. The ability to get out of the weather is a game changer when working with giant wraps that cover an entire vehicle.”
