Hennessey Police were called to check out a gas leak in the 500 block of South Bonita St., about 7:45 pm, Sunday night. The officer arrived and requested the fire department to respond. The gas meter in front of 514 S Bonita was broken off after someone had backed over it, causing a gas leak. Oklahoma Natural Gas responded and turned off the gas. Monday morning, the ONG crew arrived to make repairs.
