Emergency personnel responded to a plane crash south of Marshall, in Logan County this afternoon. The pilot, Robert Slater was flying his Piper Seneca twin engine plane from Tyler, Texas to Hutchinson, Kansas when both engines failed. The land owner heard the crash, called 911 and assisted the pilot until the medial emergency personnel arrived. According to the OHP, Slater was flown to OU Medical Center by a med flight helicopter with non-life threatening injuries.
