The Hennessey First United Methodist Church held an outdoor fun day on Easter Sunday. It was a wonderfully warm, sunny afternoon that included live animals, kites, food, and fun. Families were treated with colorful kites and various other craft activities. The event’s highlight was the live animals that were available to feed, pet and ask the handlers questions. The porcupine and lemur loved apple slices, and the lama would give you kisses for an apple slice. Of course, the Easter Bunny was present.
