Last Friday, March 11, at about 5 pm, Hennessey Firefighters, Police, OHP, and Kingfisher County Deputies responded to a collision about 3.5 miles east of Hennessey on Hwy 51.ย According to OHP, 19-year-old Caden Clark, from Enid, was driving a 2017 Nissan Altima west on highway 51, in the construction zone when he struck a 2016 John Deer front-end loader, driven by Kale Broomfield 23, of Ames. The front-end loader, also traveling west was stopped to make a left-hand turn when it was struck from behind by Clark. Clark was pronounced dead at the scene. Broomfield was not injured.ย ย The cause of the collision remains under investigation, according to the OHP.
