Pastor Shane Bennett and his family moved to Hennessey from Davis, where he spent the last 6 ยฝ years as pastor of The Vine Baptist Church. Before that, he pastored Oak Street Baptist Church in Kingfisher.
Kelsey, Shaneโs wife, taught 3rd grade at the Oklahoma School for the Deaf and continues with OSD as an Educational Consultant. Shaneโs parents, Gene and Tracy (Taylor) Bennett were 1979 graduates of HHS. The Taylors, Shaneโs family own 4 Tโs Market and Meats.
Shane, along with his wife Kelsey and daughters (left to right in picture) Mirabelle (9, fourth grade) and Jaynie (7, first grade), say they are excited to start a new adventure and to call Hennessey home.
โThe church has welcomed us with open arms, and we look forward to leading and serving FBC to advance the Kingdom of Christ in the years ahead,โ said pastor Bennett.
