Hennessey’s Senior Singles group, The Golden Eagles, were treated to a special Valentine’s Day party last Saturday. The event was hosted by the Hennessey Community Action Team (CAT). About 40 guests enjoyed a meal served by the Hennessey 4-H Club and enjoyed entertainment by Tim Holder and Johnny Rains at The Gathering Place.
This was made possible by several local businesses contributing donations for door prizes and support. These included: Golden Chick, DC Trailers, Family Café, Eat It Up, 81 Bar & Grill, Wellness Mercantile, Turkey Creek Mercantile, Gail’s Grill, Jo Elaine Matousek, and Annie’s Flowerhouse & Gifts. The group hopes this will be an annual event.
