Every year Hennessey folk look forward to the field south of the library filled with wonderful pumpkins of every shape and size.
Kids and adults alike will search through all of them to find the perfect one to make a Jack-O-Lantern.
These pumpkins are much more than decoration. They are a part of the Friends of the library’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Funds go towards any needs the library might have. Volunteers take shifts to and more are needed to sell on Monday – Friday 3:00 – 6:00 pm and Saturday 12:00 – 6:00 pm. If you would like to help, you can call or go by the library and sign up.
Friends of the library is a great group and benefits our library greatly. If you would like to join the group, the next meeting is Tuesday, November 9th at 6:00 pm at the library.
