Laura and Jasper Dobbins were at the school following tutoring when they noticed a kitten dart for one of the trees. Jasper tried to get the kitten down, but the kitten continued to climb higher up the tree. Amy Hochstasser was also there, and she and Laura discussed whether or not firefighters really do rescue cats from trees. They decided to call the PD, where officer Loper showed up and saved the day, rescuing the kitten from the very top of the tree. They are now looking for a name for the kitten. They are thinking “Altitude.” Any ideas? Thanks, Officer Loper, you’re our hero!
