The Hennessey Early Childhood students participated in International Dot Day Wednesday, September 15th. The students participated in numerous activities that included interacting with Hennessey Superintendent Jason Sternberger.
This celebration is inspired by the book “The Dot,” a story about a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her abilities by being brave enough to “make her mark.” What begins with a small dot on a piece of paper becomes a breakthrough in confidence and courage, igniting a journey of self-discovery and sharing, which has inspired countless children and adults around the globe.
