The Pat Hennessey Park on North Arapaho St. is getting some major improvements this week. A new playground structure is being installed by a crew from Oklahoma City’s ACS Playground Adventures company.
This structure includes a slide, areas to climb and explore. The entire area around it will be covered with a thick layer of mulch to help protect the little ones.
The equipment was made possible by a joint venture between the Town of Hennessey, Hennessey United, and GPA Midstream Mid-Continent Chapter.
ACS will wrap up assembly today (Tuesday, August 31) and it will be open tomorrow for everyone to enjoy. Hennessey Town Administrator, Tiffany Tillman said, “We are planning on a ribbon-cutting a little later this month.”
