Hennessey Fire Fighters responded to a car fire about 3 pm today, Wednesday, August 25, in the Turkey Creek Mobile Home Park, on Cemetery Road. They arrived to find a Ford SUV with fire coming from underneath. The owner of the SUV, Raymond Moulton said, “I pulled into the road and could see a trail of fire behind me.” At one point, there was a loud bang from the car and spectators moved back. The Fire Fighters used foam to extinguish the blaze. The vehicle was a total loss. There were no injuries reported.
