During last week’s Hennessey Board of Trustees meeting, town administrator Tiffany Tillman, spoke to the board about the possibility of new playground equipment at the Pat Hennessey Park. Tillman said they could combine funds from a grant, the money that Hennessey United had set aside and some money from the town to purchase some equipment. Tillman said, “This would be nice equipment, like the ones at the aquatic center/splash pad now.” Tillman also said that the playground equipment company had a matching grant available and she applied for it and we will see what happens.”
