What is National Hispanic Heritage Month? PARADES, CONCERTS, DANCING and FOOD FAIRS are all a part of National Hispanic Heritage Month but what is it and why do we celebrate? September 15th โ October 15th is National Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the many contributions, diverse cultures and extended histories of the American Latino Community. This celebration originated and was first proclaimed in 1968 as a week but amended in 1988 to become National Hispanic Heritage Month. The all about network will be recognizing our Hispanic sponsor/partners and their businesses starting September 1st and throughout Hispanic Heritage Month.
