THE HENNESSEY POOL IS ALMOST DONE! BUT…
The long anticipated Hennessey Pool is nearing completion but even if it is done by the original scheduled date of Memorial Day we may still have to wait a bit. The contractor is working to complete construction but some of the suppliers have shut down due to the COVID-19 situation. If it is done, we still may have to wait until the Governor lifts the virus restrictions. Hennessey Mayor, Bert Gritz said, “We have waited a long time for this pool, but the odds may be against us at this time.” The main pool areas are almost complete, some of the water features are installed, and the bath house is almost ready for the roof.
