The Hennessey School Board met last night using Zoom, virtual meeting to include Joe Garrison and Cristopher Choate. Practicing social distancing, they voted to pay the school support staff salaries and benefits through June, 30 2020. The board also voted to suspend the board policy #430 now allowing school staff to be able to communicate directly with students using their personal devices. This is in effect until November 15th, 2020 or until the Governor terminates the state of emergency. Board President Patrick Griffin said, “Teachers should practice including parents and others in any direct communication with students.”
