Several homes in the Turkey Creek Mobile Home Park were evacuated this afternoon (Wednesday, March 4, 2020) when construction crews struck a gas line. Fiber installation contractors working near the intersection of west 4th and Cemetery Rd struck an unmarked gas line about 1:30 today. There was a strong gas odor in the area as the Hennessey Fire Department evacuated 6 of the homes on the south side of the park. This is the 3rd gas line strike in the past few days even after calling OKIE Dig. ONG crews are working to make repairs.
