NEW HENNESSEY FIRE TRUCK Hennessey Fire Department put their new R-1 brush truck in service yesterday. The truck is a new 2018 Food F550, 4X4 with an extended cab and diesel engine. It has lots of storage, LED lighting and can carry 500 gallons of water, with a tank level gauge inside the cab. The front of the truck is equipped with spray heads that can be controlled from inside the cab and a thermal imaging camera mounted on the front brush guard. The truck has foam capabilities and was built by Copper Creek Manufacturing in Loyal and paid for by county sales tax.
