Two Hennessey Elementary boys came out on top at the Blackwell Battle for the Ring Open Novice Tournament yesterday. (Saturday, January 11, 2020) 9 year old 4th grader Kason Scruggs, won 1st in the 70 lb division, and 9 year old, 3rd grader Rogan Choate, won 1st in the 58 lb division at the Blackwell tournament.
