CHILDREN ENJOY A BRISK MORNING HORSE AND WAGON RIDE

Rosie cheeks and smiles were on hand this morning as Mother’s Day Out visited the Friends of the Hennessey Library Pumpkin Patch for the annual Storytime in the Patch. Children’s librarian Jennie Moreno read “Pete the Cat and Five Pumpkins”.  The children were brought to the library by Fred Petrolia and Janice Waldrop assisted by horses Brutus, the black 21yr. old mustang/Percheron cross on the right, and Sarge, the 13yr old Belgian/quarter horse cross on the left.  The Hennessey Public Library hosts storytime and games in the patch for local school classes and daycare groups as part of its outreach program.
