2019-2020 HHS CHEER SQUAD GETTING READY! – 16 members of the Hennessey Cheer Squad spent this week in camp getting ready for this year. This year’s members include; (not in order) Ali Romero, Ashland Crites, Chloe Moery, Ezri Vaverka, Grace Curran, Hailey Gray Thompson, Hannah Gray Thompson, Madison Greenfield, Madison Vaverka, Noelle Pollard, Katie Pearson, Kayla Wyrick, Sol Tarango, Vanessa Alaniz, Brylee Catlett, Kaleigh Schaefer. The girls sponsor this year is Beth Curran.

RESTROOMS ARE DONE!
The restroom renovations at the Hennessey football field are now complete. Upgrades include heat and air-conditioning, all new walls, floors, fixtures and stalls. All of the work on this upgrade was completed by local Hennessey contractors.

United Turf and Track crews were busy today with the softball field and infield restoration project. A spokesperson with the company said, “We will wrap up the infield today and lay the new sod tomorrow”. The field should be ready for play later this week.

Long before the sun came up this morning (4am), several concrete crews began pouring the concrete floor at the Hennessey dome. Today’s pour completed the center part of the floor where the basketball floor will go. They used high tech remote controlled concrete placement robots, and had the entire floor in place in about 2 hours. Stay tuned to All About Hennessey for the next dome update, in the upcoming episode of “Were Going In”.

The Hennessey Community Action Team made short work of the Lovie James home this morning. (Saturday July 13th) About 17 members of the Hennessey community swung into action this morning making short work of a home in need of some help. In only a few hours, they cut trees, hauled off debris, trimmed and mowed transforming this home for a deserving Hennessey resident.
