REPLACEMENT POLICE CAR
At a special meeting last week, the Hennessey Town Trustees approved the purchase of a new police car. This will replace the one whose repair costs are more than the value of the vehicle. The new car is a 2019 Ford Explorer that includes the Police Interceptor package with heavy duty components, and special wiring for police work. The car will be outfitted with the lights and radios at an outfitter in North Carolina then transported to Hennessey. Photo is an example, not the actual police car.

MATTHEW SMITH WINS 3RD FEATURE IN A ROW

MATTHEW SMITH WINS 3RD FEATURE IN A ROW!
Hennessey racers were back in action at Enid speedway this past weekend.

Matthew Smith (5) finished first in his heat race and improved his 3rd starting position to another A-Feature win, his 4th of the season.

Mark Smith (95) ran 2nd in his heat race and improved his 9th starting position to a 2nd place finish

Michael Meek (6*) won his heat race, but got overheated in feature and had to pull in finishing

Tommy Bohnstedt (28) won his heat race, but his water pump broke on lap one of feature forcing him to pull in.

Skylar McCall (16) ran 4th heat and had some bad luck in feature finishing 16th.

Damon Seiger (23) finished 3rd in the heat and finished 4th in the feature
