SPECIAL NOTICE FROM THE TOWN OF HENNESSEY
Earlier this week the City of Kingfisher called for a boil order on drinking water in their city. The City of Kingfisher’s Facebook page said, “Initial assessment indicates that the heavy rains, flooding and excessive run-off may have led to the positive E. coli in Well 12. The City is working with ODEQ to resolve the issue and ensure that our water system is safe for you to consume.” THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE TOWN OF HENNESSEY. Curtis Turner, Hennessey public works director said, “Our water is monitored by the DEQ and we would know quickly if we had a problem.”
