The Hennessey Junior High Eagles kept their season rolling with a
16 -12 victory over Watonga on Monday, September 14.
It was a battle of the Eagles as Hennessey hosted Watonga for the matchup. When the final whistle sounded, it was the hometown Eagles who came out on top, improving their season record to 2-0.
The early-season success has the Junior High Eagles off to a strong start as they continue working their way through the 2026 schedule.
The team is coached by Mark Cox, Nathan Hill, Aaron Pitts, Matthew Fuksa and Gene Bennett.
Hennessey will hit the road for its next game, traveling to Alva on Monday, September 21, to take on the Goldbugs. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
