The funeral for Nina Lavon Collums, 78 will be at 11:00 AM Saturday August 15, 2026 at Dover Christian Church officiated by Jimmy Berkenbile. Burial will follow at Dover Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Nina was born in Okeene on May 29, 1948 to Johnny and Rosalie Schuber Tice and died Wednesday August 5, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Nina married Donnie Collums in Dover September 30, 1966.
She was an administrative assistant at Dover Public Schools and was a true Longhorn fan. Nina was a member of Dover Christian Church and the Dover Alumni Association.
She is survived by one son Brian Collums and wife Melissa of Tuttle, five grandchildren Zachary Collums, Zoe Collums, Calin Zearley, Jacob Zearley, Hunter Crick, ten great-grandchildren, one brother Johnny “Slugger” Tice, one sister Lexia Tice, and many nieces and nephews.
Nina was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Donnie Collums.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made in her name to the Dover Public School Foundation.
