The Hennessey Board of Education unanimously voted to hire Kinzie Lyn Martin as a new elementary school teacher during its regular meeting on Monday, June 8.
Martin brings classroom experience and a passion for early childhood education to Hennessey Public Schools. She currently serves as a preschool teacher at Learning Tree Preschool in Enid, where she works with 3- and 4-year-old students through daily lessons, hands-on activities, and early learning development.
According to her resume, Martin is completing a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts General Studies at Northwestern Oklahoma State University and has passed the Oklahoma General Education Test (OGET), an important step toward teacher certification. She also holds an associate degree from Northern Oklahoma College and is certified in CPR and First Aid.
Her professional background includes experience in education, healthcare, and customer service, with skills in classroom management, student engagement, organization, communication, and technology integration.
