The Hennessey baseball team took advantage of the sunny weather to get some fieldwork in ahead of their upcoming away game against Hinton this Thursday. The players were all business during practice, focused on refining their skills to ensure they’re at their best for the matchup.
Coach Black and Coach Hill emphasized defensive drills, working on their form for fielding grounders to make it second nature, the team also spent time in the batting cage, aiming to sharpen their swings and improve their timing at the plate.
The Eagles have started their season hot with a 9-2 record so far and are ranked 8th in class 3A, the team is determined to keep improving and are looking to keep their hot streak going throughout the season.
