Darrell L. “Mister K.” Knierihm was born April 14, 1949, in Enid to Henry and Marjorie Cain Knierihm and died Wednesday March 18, 2026, at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Enid.
There will be viewing from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Sunday March 22, 2026, at Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. There will be no services.
Darrell married Martha Tyre in Hennessey on December 23, 2006.
He taught elementary school in Hennessey for many years until he retired. He was affectionately known as Mr. K. to his students and colleagues. Darrell was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He is survived by his wife Martha of the home; two nephews Scott Henry of Stillwater, Mark Henry of Hennessey, one great-nephew Garet Henry and wife Sarah, and one great-niece Larin Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charles Knierihm and Dennis Knierihm.
