Hennessey Elementary School took time on January 9 to celebrate Law Enforcement Day, and it was a great reminder of just how much our local officers mean to this community.
The school welcomed members of the Hennessey Police Department, Oklahoma Highway Patrol and State Troopers, along with the Kingfisher County Sheriffโs Office. Students and staff made it a point to show their appreciation and say thank you to those who work every day to keep our town safe.
Moments like this matter. They give our kids a chance to recognize service, and they give our officers a well-deserved reminder that their work does not go unnoticed. Thank you to all who serve and protect Hennessey and the surrounding area. photos AAH, Shelley Muzny
