A fire destroyed one of the older homes in Dover on Monday afternoon, December 29, 2025.
The Dover Fire Department was dispatched at approximately 1:30 p.m. to a structure fire at 123 N. Sheridan Avenue. Upon arrival, firefighters found the south side of the two-story home fully engulfed in flames.
The property is located next door to the Dover Fire Station. Due to the extent of the fire, Dover firefighters quickly requested assistance from the Hennessey Fire Department.
Officials stated that no one was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
Assisting agencies included the Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office, Kingfisher County Emergency Management, OG&E, and ONG.
