Hennessey High School students got a crash course in entrepreneurship on Tuesday, November 18th, courtesy of Jack Quirk, owner of the All About Network, KJ FilmWorks, and QuickStock Films. Quirk shared his life story as a lifelong entrepreneur, starting from the first business he launched at the age of 10, proving that some kids run lemonade stands, and others build empires.
About 50 students from Mariee Parrish’s high school history classes attended. The group has been studying the President Kennedy assassination, which made Quirk a perfect guest. He grew up around the Kennedy family thanks to his father’s work as an NBC photojournalist, meaning Jack’s “bring your kid to work day” stories are a little more interesting than most.
Students got a firsthand look at what it takes to launch ideas, embrace risks, and turn creativity into a career, all delivered with Quirk’s trademark humor and a few behind-the-scenes tales they won’t find in their history books.
