When the government shutdown left families facing uncertainty, the Dover Christian Church stepped up without hesitation. Partnering with Forgotten Ministry, the church organized three teams—14 volunteers strong—to go door-to-door across the Dover community. Their mission was straightforward: make sure no one went hungry.
The results spoke for themselves. Volunteers delivered 150 sacks of groceries to local households, offering not just food but a reminder of what real community looks like. It isn’t buildings, committees, or headlines. It’s people watching out for one another when times get tough. Photos provided.
