The Hennessey Masons rolled out the red carpet, along with plenty of gravy, at a First Responders Appreciation Dinner held Tuesday evening, November 4th, at the Hennessey Coronado Lodge #56 on 3rd Street.
About 14 first responders enjoyed a hearty chicken fried steak dinner complete with all the fixings, as a small token of gratitude for the big jobs they do every day. Guests included members of the Hennessey Fire Department, Hennessey Police Department, Kingfisher County Sheriffโs Office, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The event was a warm reminder that while these men and women spend their days serving the community, the community hasnโt forgotten to serve them once in a while, especially when it comes with mashed potatoes. Photos by AAHโs Jack Quirk.
