Every month, the “All About YOU” flower presentation shines a spotlight on someone in Hennessey who quietly makes this community better. October’s recognition goes to someone who’s been pouring energy, positivity, and a whole lot of heart into this town: Kandi Snyder.
Kandi was nominated by Sarah Edwards, who didn’t hold back when it came to sharing why Kandi deserves the honor. Here’s what she had to say:
“Kandi, First off, congratulations! I think you are so deserving of this award! You go above and beyond for this community. When you started Divine Nutrition for our little town, you were welcomed with open arms. I truly hope your business continues to thrive. You worked so hard to achieve your goal of opening a shop, and I am so proud of you! Thank you for being such a good friend throughout the years to me, I love you lady!”
Kandi’s story fits the mold of so many hometown heroes — someone who quietly puts in the work, serves the people around her, and never asks for applause. But sometimes, it’s good to shine a little light on the folks who keep this town feeling like home.
