The Hennessey Varsity Lady Eagles collected eight hits to Chisholmโs seven on Thursday but couldnโt convert enough runs, dropping the game 7โ1.
โข Tayler Franklin had a standout night at the plate, going 3-for-3 and driving in the Lady Eaglesโ lone run.
โข Franklin also shined in relief, striking out four and giving up no earned runs over five innings.
โข Kenna Peach started in the circle, striking out three in two innings of work.
โข Despite solid defense and steady hitting, Hennessey couldnโt overcome Chisholmโs early lead.
