The Hennessey Eagles football team kicked off the season with the Blue & White scrimmage Saturday, August 16th. Fans filled the stands, eager to see how the team had prepared during the off-season.
Players were split into two teams: the Blue team and the White team. From the first whistle, both teams played hard. Quarterbacks threw tight passes while running backs showed off their speed and elusiveness. The defense also stepped up, stopping plays and making solid tackles. Defensive players kept pressure on their opponents, leading to some good defensive stops.
While the score wasn’t the focus, both teams showcased their skills, leaving fans excited for the upcoming season. The scrimmage gave everyone a sneak peek at the talent on this year’s roster. With what fans saw on the field, it’s clear that the Hennessey Eagles are ready to make this season one to remember. GO EAGLES!
