Carol (Franks) Roller was raised in Hennessey, Oklahoma, by her parents, David and Charlene Franks. She has three siblings: Clinton Franks, Krista Lewis, and Janet Stamm. Carol graduated from Hennessey High School in 1984. After high school, she attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU), where she earned a degree in Family and Consumer Science (Home Economics) in 1989, with a minor in Early Childhood/Child Development.
Following her graduation, Carol worked at Kingfisher Daycare for a couple of years. She then joined Pillsbury/ADM Milling, where she worked for nine years before obtaining her teaching certificate. Carol started her teaching career as a Paraprofessional at Hennessey Public Schools and later moved to St. Joseph Catholic School. She taught kindergarten for six years and pre-kindergarten for one year.
Currently, she is in her fifth year as the Director of the Hennessey Public Schools Daycare Center. Carol married David Roller, a 1979 graduate of Hennessey and a deputy for Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office, on July 17, 1993. They have two daughters: Ciara Eberle, 28, who is married to Christian and has three children, including a four-year-old son named Lincoln and one-and-a-half-year-old twin daughters, Remiel and Gabriella. Their younger daughter, Tori Roller, 26, is a Certified Medical Assistant and a dog mom to Chester, a Golden Retriever.
Carol enjoys cooking and trying new recipes that David finds for her. She loves traveling and, most importantly, spending quality time with her family.AAH, Shelley Muzny
