Dayton Wymore was raised in Hennessey, Oklahoma, by his parents, Danny and Jennifer Wymore. He has three siblings: Danyon, Morgan, and Daxson. Throughout high school, Dayton excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. During the 2016-17 football season, he achieved impressive rankings: he was among the top 381 players nationally in one statistic, ranked first in Oklahoma in another, and ranked first in Division 2A for two statistics. Additionally, he was crowned Hennessey High School Basketball Homecoming King. Dayton graduated from Hennessey High School in 2017.
After graduation, he worked for Greg Fuksa in farming until 2019. He then transitioned to the oilfield, working for his father-in-law at McCartney Welding. In January 2024, Dayton established his own business, 5W Construction LLC, and he continues to operate and grow it to this day.
In August 2020, Dayton married the love of his life, Jordan McCartney. They have two beautiful children, Dallas (3) and Presley Jo (2). Many who know Dayton also regard his oldest child as Sadie Lee, his beloved Border Collie. When the family is out together, chances are you’ll get to meet her.
Dayton is a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Family is the most important aspect of his life, and what makes this even more special is that he believes you don’t have to be blood to be considered family. He has a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back. If you know him, you know you have a loyal and steadfast person in your life. He always greets others with a smile and a hug, and if he really likes you, he might tease you a little!
Dayton has helped coach his brother Daxson’s baseball team for several years. As a family, they often attend baseball games to support all the kids. In his free time, Dayton enjoys golfing, hunting, and spending quality time with his family. AAH, Shelley Muzny
