Hennessey town crews were out Wednesday, May 14th, giving the downtown side streets a fresh look, one stripe at a time. New parking lines are being painted at a slightly different angle, a subtle shift that actually helps widen the street and improve traffic flow. Bonus: it also enhances visibility at intersections.
Next on the list? Handicap spaces, those will be getting their fresh blue outlines soon. As for Main Street, its time is coming! Crews are holding off until the street sweeper is back in action. Once it’s repaired, those spots will get their makeover too. The paint being used is the same durable stuff trusted by ODOT, so these lines are in it for the long haul.
