This week, the high school senior leadership class, organizedย by Hennessey United, had a trip to the courthouse and performed a mock trial based on the movie Starwars. Studentsย took on the movieย character’s roles and held a mock trial in which Victor Valenciaย was the defendant.ย
Students also learned how to act in the courtroom and what takes to run the facility. They were taught about all the different positions not only in the courthouse but also within the law enforcement and how they both work together. Story and photos by Mariana Gonzalez.
