Thursday, October 20 Jacksonโs Wrecking from Enid demolished the 2 buildings at the corner of Hwy 51 and N Mitchell Rd. The school purchased the property at auction last year and has no immediate plans, only to clean up the corner for now. The old gas station building was most recently Maryโs Tires. They moved to Main Street and set up in the old Coop station. The building was best known as Bennettโs Friendly Shop in the 80s. After the highway 81 reroute, the convenience store closed and has since been the site of several businesses throughout the years.
