Family Café is getting a major facelift! Sara Fisher, owner of Family Café at 108 N Main St. said, “We really haven’t done anything to the outside of the building since mom opened.” Sara’s Mom, Gay Means-Chambers opened the business as a bookstore in 1995 and shortly after she started cooking home style dinners and the Family Café was born. Nowadays Sara has brought Family Café to a whole new generation in Hennessey. Sara has taken what started over 20 years ago by her mother, and with some tweaks, and a recent interior remodel. Sara said, “It was time to do something with the front of the building.” The new look will take a few weeks to complete but it will really stand out when done.
