A single-vehicle crash Wednesday evening sent an Enid woman to the hospital after her vehicle left the roadway east of town.
At approximately 7 p.m. on March 25, Hennessey firefighters responded to a wreck about a quarter mile east of the intersection of East Oklahoma Street and Mitchell Road, along E625 Road east of Hennessey High School.
Upon arrival, crews found the driver trapped inside the vehicle. Hennessey Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to open the door and safely extricate her.
According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Kylea Wildrix of Enid was traveling east on E650 Road when her vehicle left the gravel roadway to the right, coming to rest in a ditch against a utility pole.
Wildrix was transported by Mercy Regional EMS to a hospital in Enid with injuries that were not disclosed.
