Three Multimedia & Business students from Chisholm Trail Technology Center, Brooke Barton, Miranda Borelli, and Serenity Lasiter, recently partnered with the Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce and Commissioner Mike Sparks to help restore the Centennial Wall database.
Using their skills in spreadsheets and graphic design, the students created a searchable, alphabetized database along with a corresponding map key, making it much easier for individuals to locate the names honored on the commemorative bricks.
Once released this spring, the database will allow community members to search and find the exact location of bricks dedicated to friends, family members, and loved ones.
It’s a great example of Chisholm Trail Technology Center students using their skills to give back while helping preserve a meaningful piece of Kingfisher County’s history.
A special thank you to these students for helping make it easier for families and visitors to locate and honor those remembered on the Centennial Wall.
