RedLevé Dance Studio’s competitive teams continued their season with another strong showing at AMP Dance Competition, held March 7 through 8. Dancers brought home several overall placements, special judges’ awards, and top adjudication honors across both group and solo performances.
In group competition, the Large Group Hip Hop routine received Extreme Voltage Adjudication, earned the Best in Style award, and claimed 1st Place Overall. The Small Group Hip Hop routine also captured 1st Place Overall, along with Extreme Voltage Adjudication and the Judges Entertainment Award. Small Group Jazz received Extreme Voltage Adjudication, was awarded Best in Style, and placed 3rd Overall.
The Small Group Contemporary routine earned Extreme Voltage Adjudication along with the Judges Artistry Award and Best in Style recognition, finishing 4th Overall. In the Mini division, the Mini Jazz group received High Voltage Adjudication, while the Mini Hip Hop group earned Voltage Adjudication and received the Best in Style Award.
Several RedLevé dancers also competed in solo performances on the first day. Aleissa Cabral earned Extreme Voltage Adjudication, received the Judges’ Entertainment Award, and placed 3rd Overall for her jazz solo. Avileny Cabral received High Voltage Adjudication, was awarded Best in Style, and finished 9th Overall for her contemporary solo. Jacee Beaman received a Voltage Adjudication and the Judges 567-ATE(8) Award. Quinn Ward earned Voltage Adjudication for her contemporary solo, and Morgan Lester received Voltage Adjudication for her lyrical performance.
Solo competition continued on Day 2. Piper Zielny earned the Explosive Jumps Judges Award, received Extreme Voltage Adjudication, and placed 8th Overall for her jazz solo. She also received Extreme Voltage Adjudication for her contemporary solo. Anastasia Bohnstedt earned Voltage Adjudication for her jazz solo, while Maesyn Hancock received Voltage Adjudication for her lyrical solo.
A job well done to the local studio, continuing to put Hennessey on the map in the competitive dance world.
