Some paths begin with a nudge, and for Rhonda Stotts, that nudge came right at the kitchen table. While preparing their own taxes, her husband casually said, “You should look into becoming an agent. You already know this stuff. Why not help others?” That simple encouragement sparked something bigger.
Once Rhonda started learning about the education process, she jumped in headfirst. In 2016, she completed the coursework, passed the exam, and officially became an Enrolled Agent, a federally licensed tax professional authorized to prepare individual and business tax returns and help clients navigate the tax process with confidence.
What Rhonda enjoys most is helping people who may not fully understand taxes feel more at ease. She takes the stress out of the process, explains things in a way that makes sense, and walks alongside her clients from start to finish. For her, the most rewarding part is seeing the relief and results when it’s all complete.
